Connection between the this website and the MacLaren Formula 1 Racing Team Bruce MacLaren, formula 1 driver and founder of the MacLaren Formula 1 Racing Team, was the first MacLaren I had an acquaintance with over some years. He was an idol for me, with my 13 years old at the Nuerburgring at that time, when he took me with him into the paddocks, and they allow me to sit in his car. At that time everything was more familiar to do so. I took a great fancy to him as a very impressive personality. The chance to a good communication wasn't very high because of my very small English knowledge, but when ever you want, there is always a way. To name him as a friend is a little bit too much, but he gave me a feeling of being "connected".
